We have two grades of Hyne Araucaria Clears. No. 1 Clear is free from defects on all sides except for the occasional surface blemish that is capable of being machined out. No. 2 Clears is a very high grade free from defects on one face, except for minor blemishes that are capable of being machined out.
Plantation grown, with excellent strength to weight ratio, Hyne Araucaria Clear provides stability in service that is superior to alternative, commercially available softwoods. Choose the Araucaria Clear feedstock that best suits the perfect finish that you desire.
Is supplied kiln dried in random length packs and is suitable for high quality end use applications where a clean natural finish is required. Picture frame mouldings, panelling, furniture manufacture and joinery are typical end uses.

Are kiln dried and conveniently docked to customer’s specific lengths with an overcut allowance to allow for further precision docking. These components save a process, minimises waste and improves efficiencies for customers.
(sometimes called block) is ideally suited for finger jointing operations where purchasing clear shook improves efficiencies by eliminating a docking process. Shook is supplied in short variable lengths up to 600mm in length.
Is produced by joining kiln dried short clears with joints bonded with cross-linked PVA glue. Each piece is free from defects except minor blemishes that are capable of being machined out. Particularly suitable for mouldings and picture frame manufacture where a high quality painted finish is required. Standard length is 5.4m but alternate lengths, available to suit individual customer’s requirements, are available by arrangement.

Supplied kiln dried, is suitable for applications where a clear natural finish on one face is required. Furniture manufacture, internal mouldings, panelling and joinery are all typical end uses.
