Beam 15 is Hyne Timber’s latest innovation in Glue Laminated Timber (GLT); a high-performance product that is a suitable alternative to GL17, LVL and steel. Engineered to handle long spans and critical loads, Beam 15 is ideal for lintels over large window and door openings, garage openings or roof beams where spans over large spaces are dictated by design.

We offer design assistance to help convert your existing plans, as well as obtaining Design Certificates, where applicable.

F5 Structural Timber

F5 is Hyne Timber’s premium base grade structural timber. Produced and dried to a higher standard than that of other’s F5 timber, it is a proven performer with constrained bow, spring, and twist limits. In fact, with a moisture content of approximately 15%, Hyne’s premium F5 timber far surpasses the 21% moisture content set by the Australian Standards for MGP10+ products. At 15%, the timber is closer to the Equilibrium Moisture Content (EMC) than other grades, ensuring increased straightness and stability.
